OUR STORY BEGINS WITH YOU

Story Bikes was born from our fascination of electric bikes and love for philanthropy. Our mission is to enhance the way we commute while shaping the future for students in Zimbabwe.

Pick some wheels, give some wheels

Our mission
Our goal

The goal of our electric bikes is to get people of all ages back on bikes and living healthier lifestyles. Riders will also have an immediate impact on students within developing countries.

For every Story Electric Bike purchased, we're donating a portion of the proceeds to fund a bike for a student in Zimbabwe whom need a means of transportation to get to school.

Our partner
Buffalo Bikes

With the help of World Bicycle Relief and Greenline Africa Trust, specially designed and locally assembled Buffalo Bikes will be donated to students at local schools in Zimbabwe -- mobilizing children through the power of bicycles.

Mobilize and empower

With the help of our partners, we’re able to identify the students who travel the furthest that need a Buffalo Bike. We work with community and school leaders to ensure the students are consistently attending school and that they’re keeping up their academic scores.

THE POWER OF EDUCATION

In rural developing countries, the biggest barrier to education is often the physical act of getting to school. Tasked with many more domestic chores than boys, girls fall behind because of the cultural obstacles they face. In many of the areas where we work, it is common for girls to arrive at school late and tired if they arrive at all.

By providing bicycles to children, especially girls, you can empower them with knowledge and ultimately, change the course of their lives. Keeping girls in school has been shown to have a multiplier effect that can help break the cycle of poverty.

Our TRIP TO ZIMBABWE

The Story Bikes team attended a recent distribution day in Zimbabwe
where they saw first hand how the donations have affected the lives of students.
