Description

For our Story Road Bike, we started with a sleek and traditional bike design. We carefully tucked in a powerful motor and hid the batteries neatly into the frame. When we finished we found ourselves with a beautiful and timeless bike that’s modern and powerful.

This model comes 95% assembled with all the tool necessary included making it easy to put together at home.

Our Electric Road Bike comes well-equipped with a lightweight frame that's powered by a 350-watt motor, 36-volt battery. The color LCD Screen is easy to operate and includes metrics such as real time speed, distance, time, calories burned, and more.

We added premium parts, including Velo micro leather grips and seat, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, and Shimano 9-speed gearing to give you the ultimate performance and range. The Chapter 2 version now includes front and rear fenders, front and rear lights, and kickstand.

The Story Road bike’s beautiful, minimalist design and outstanding performance makes it an obvious choice for those looking for a cost-efficient rocket ship.

STORY BIKE FEATURES

Torque Sensing crankset

Our e-bikes includes a Torque Sensing Pedal Assist System (PAS). A torque sensor measures how hard the rider is pedaling to determine how much assistance to provide. This allows the bike to instantaneously provide assistance vs older Cadence PAS Technology. Torque Sensing PAS is the gold standard on e-bikes.

Upgraded Color LCD Screen

Backlit color digital LCD screen with IOS/Android application. Includes real time speed, charge indicator, single/total trip odometer, single/total trip time, PAS level, calories burned and more.

20 MPH

Story Bikes are equipped with a powerful motor capable of hitting speeds up to 20 MPH. Big hills? No problem. The 350W motor is discreet yet packs a major punch.

Waiting for the suspension fork

Beautiful and Fast. Ride is Stiff.

Quality and overall design are great. By far the lightest e-bike for the money. A great value! Ride is very firm, stiff IMHO (I added a suspension seatpost and cushy saddle, and will be adding a suspension fork). Our family has 4 StoryBikes, so we are believers. The Commuter and the Step-through are great as well, and the ride on those is very comfortable!

A Great Bike

To tell the truth I just received my bike today and have not used the electric function. But, at the outset I can say this is a very high quality product made with an eye to detail, functionality and beauty. I'm impressed. I would recommend 1) a sheet of paper in the package explaining that the assembly is outlined in a video; that was not immediately evident; 2) A video on the display function would be helpful, 3) You should consider including a schrader to presta tire pump adaptor, as most buyers will not have presta pumps, and will want to ride their bikes. The tires do arrive at about 3/4 pressure so can be ridden. But overall great work making this high quality and functional product available.

Four and half stars

I recieved and have riden the bike everyday since. I like that the bike is light. I live in a condo and am able to easily get it into and out of the building. The boost is great but there is not much difference from one level to the other. I have to replace the seat due to numbing. I will also replace the pedals due to skinning my legs several times. The charge holds well. I am able to average a maintained speed, on mostly level roadway, at 16 mph, for a sustained ride of about an hour. Head winds, where i live are constant and strong, but no problem on this bike. Overall, I am very pleased with the bike and would highly reccommend it for people that do not expect the bike to do the work. I am 64 years old and get a good workout. Its what I was hoping for!
