For our Story Road Bike, we started with a sleek and traditional bike design. We carefully tucked in a powerful motor and hid the batteries neatly into the frame. When we finished we found ourselves with a beautiful and timeless bike that’s modern and powerful.

This model comes 95% assembled with all the tool necessary included making it easy to put together at home.

Our Electric Road Bike comes well-equipped with a lightweight frame that's powered by a 350-watt motor, 36-volt battery. The LCD Screen is easy to operate and includes a USB charging port.

We added premium parts, including micro leather grips and seat, hydraulic disc brakes, and 9-speed gearing to give you the ultimate performance and range.

The Story Road bike’s beautiful, minimalist design and outstanding performance makes it an obvious choice for those looking for a cost-efficient rocket ship.

Several years ago I purchased a story by for myself and for my wife. I was very happy with the quality paint job Dash blue. I have to give it Highmarks it’s still working well my wife’s bike had a little bit of difficulty adjusting the steering - handlebars it would not stay in place so we had to take it to a bike shop. The bike is still performing very well no complaints… it’s my third electric bike.

Electric Road Bike - Excellent Buy and Optimistic Performance

I rarely give a 5-star rating in a product I intend to enjoy for the long-term. But, I can tell you that so far I am super impressed with my Story Electric Road Bike. For disclosure, I was one of those closed minded riders who believed that an E-Bike was for lazy riders who preferred the easy way to cycling. I no longer believe that with my Story Electric Road Bike.

I am a 65 year old Maui boy who has been riding a hybrid bike for 3 years to keep the weight off. Plate lunches and good kine Hawaiian local boy food was hard to burn out. I ride about 3 to 5 days a week racking up about 60-75 miles a week. I don't ride fast compared to the younger riders, but I was doing 21 miles in about 1 hour 40 minutes on my hybrid bike. Still fast enough to impress! With my new Electric Bike, my time for my 21 mile course went down to 1 hour 25 minutes. I kept the pedal assist to 1 the entire route and increased it to 2 on the small inclines on my routes, and the battery needled moved only slightly (less than 1/8) at the end of the ride. I could feel the impact of a cardio work out with the electric bike because even though I used the pedal assist, I did more rotations with no pauses throughout the ride compared to my hybrid, and my legs felt it.

The 350w motor is good enough for the bike routes here in Las Vegas. The routes I ride is usually flat with moderate hills, and based on the rides I have done so far, I anticipate I could do at least 50 miles on one fully charged battery.

I have the Black color Electric Road Bike and I like the way it was put together. I ordered it on Black Friday and received it 7 days later. It was easy to assemble out of the box thanks to the video on Story Bike's FAQ page. I did not like the instructions for the display because it was confusing with the other functions that my display did not have. I increased the height of the handlebar with an extension to better fit my size. I did not like the hard brown color seat and changed that out with a softer gel seat. I also changed the brown handle grips to match the new seat. The changes were a better fit for me and I look awesome on it. As Bulaia said, "you handsome bugga, you still get'um.

As I said earlier, I plan to use this bike for a long time. I am hoping that my Story Electric Bike give me 3 to 5 years of worried free riding. It would be nice for us buyers if Story Bike would write an article or do a video on when and how to change the battery on the bike. If there are no mechanical break downs with the motor, gears, brakes and battery other than normal wear and tear, then this buy would definitely be a 5-star purchase for me. The way it rides now, I am optimistic that it will! Go buy'um Brah!

Excellent design aesthetic, quality frame!

Excellent design aesthetic and quality frame. An absolute joy to ride with the pedal assist. If you live in a city where the roads are unflattering, I recommend replacing the tires that come on the bike with WTB ThickSlick Flat Guard Tires, 700x28cm Black (as seen in most of the product photography). After approximately 20miles of commute, I found the quality of the pedals to be a bit subpar for my liking, I’ve since replaced them with Shimano Flat Pedals (Black).

Love the bike

I owned a high end Trek bike and it was great, but I could not keep up with the rest of the people with which I ride. The Story bike allows me to keep up. The pedal assist allows me to still get in a workout at the level I desire. I would not want an ebike that senses the power you need and providing it without you having some control. My riding friends that have tried my bike the looks, the control of the gears, the boost and the look of the bike. I know Story has a step-throuigh bike, but that style is just not for me.

70 miles and counting

I ride each weekend 30 to 40 miles with a group of about six. I bought the Story bike so I can keep up with the younger rides on the hills. So far I can easily keep up and there is plenty of battery power left at the end of the ride. Love my New Story bike.
